The Volkl Aura is a ski for the intermediate to advanced women looking to charge hard across the mountain. The Aura is built with camber underfoot and rocker at the tip and tail so it floats in powder and provides arching turns on the groom. The core is a multi layer wood core containing ash underfoot to prevent binding pull out, and poplar in the tip and tail to provide an energetic feel. With a layer of titanal laminate, these skis are not a floppy powder ski, but a quick responsive all mountain ski with powder capability. Even though we may, by request, check to see if a binding should fit your boot sole length, such an adjustment and fit check does not verify that the bindings will release properly with your boot. Only a certified shop can do this, with the user's boots present. Ski at your own risk.
