Salomon's Pilot system lets the bindings flex freely across the surface of the ski, preventing a dead spot beneath the boot. Beveled and recessed edges combined with racing base structuring help to optimize edge grip and providing a smooth ride in all snow conditions.
The bindings boast a lightweight titanium construction with simultaneous wing adjustment. The Salomon Scream 10 Pilot HOT is an all-mountain-oriented ski, again featuring the Pilot system with integrated S912 bindings. The Screams forte is on the off-piste.The Scream 10 has a monocoque composite double wall structure combining fiberglass reinforcement layers with a double fiberglass monocoque for exceptional edge grip and acceleration through turns. The edge-to-edge response is both breathtaking and confidence inspiring. The Salomon Scream 10 Pilot HOT skis were undoubtedly some of the best on the market & they now feature Salomon's Spaceframe construction. By stiffening the ski under the boot and reducing mass at the tip and tail, the swing weight is dramatically reduced, considerably livening up the ski.
With smooth damping and an aggressive sidecut, the Scream 10 Pilot HOT maintains an impressive edge-hold whatever the conditions. Salomon DEMO bindings means that these skis can be adjusted to fit boots between 280-376mm without remounting!
These used skis and bindings are in good condition, but they have quite a few days on them. Bases are in fair condition, they have plenty of light and medium scratches, all over. Edges are in good condition, straight and true all the way around, they too have some light scratches. The topsheets have some scratches and dings, especially on the tails - check out the supersize photos.
