Black Magic Light Shift Women's Skis w/ ELW 9.0 Bindings. The Elan Black Magic is a ski designed for ladies who are progressing in their skiing ability and want to step it up just a bit. This would be a great ski for someone who maybe has started to transition from sliding their turns to now carving their turns and who is just starting to get slightly more aggressive overall. The Black Magic is just very predictable, undemanding and easy-going and is the perfect tool for progressing comfortably and at your own pace. Despite being geared towards a less aggressive skier, there is some amazing tech in these things. The ski starts with a light construction which is where it gets its easy-going personality from. In the tip you will find a bit of rocker aka "early rise" along with horizontal grooves cut into the material of the ski. These two design attributes work in unison to create more ease of turn initiation without making you feel like you are getting pulled into the turn. These skis will have you exuding confidence as you make your turns down the hill. They have turn radius of about 14 meters at the 158-centimeter length which is perfect for making quick, controlled turns without the ski feeling too demanding. Within every woman is a great skier. Sometimes all you need is a little bit of magic to help you reach your full potential.
