Its 86mm waist carves firmer snow and holds an edge down steep, narrower, more complicated lines. Thanks to a full carbon weave, the Agent feels light on the uphill and stiff on the downhill. Faction shaped the ski with plenty of camber underfoot to hold an edge and maintain a surprisingly moderate turning radius.

The tail is a bit flatter for a freeride-oriented performance, and the elliptical sidecut initiates tighter or wider turns when needed. Faction built the ski out of karuba wood for lightness, and stiffened it up the full carbon weave and a titanal plate underfoot for binding retention. The underfoot also has sidewalls for added durability, and the capped tip and tail decrease weight and increase torsional responsiveness. The top sheet has a glossy finish for snow- and abrasion-resistance.
