DIN 3.5 - 12. A big fat twin for backcountry and big mountain skiing. Three bamboo stringers are laminated within the poplar core to create a tough and light core that has excellent energy return. The bamboo/poplar core makes for a very light ski that has plenty of pop. The Helix additionally received a quadaxial fiber wrap to increase torsional rigidity to accommodate the wider width of the ski.

The Helix has a P-Tex 4000 Electra sintered base, which is one of the fastest base material available in the industry. These skis are in FAIR condition. The topsheets are in fair to poor condition, in addition to the usual scratches, dings, and gouges one typically finds on used skis, these also have LOTS of chipping at the sides of the topsheets. The bases are in very good condition, some light scratches and a small pea-sized spot that could take some ptex.
