Unused 1965 Slalom Lenkung Schobob Snow Ski Bike Seen in Beatles Movie HELP

Here's your chance to own an authentic very hard to find unused/New Old Stock vintage 1965 Slalom Lenkung "Schobob" version ski bike that was featured in the Beatles movie Help! In the scene that was shot in Switzerland.

During this scene the song "Ticket To Ride" is playing and Ringo Starr is riding an example of this Schobob along side George Harrison. What make this ski bike so cool is the styling.

It looks like a chopper motorcycle from the swooped back classic T-Bar shaped handle bars to the sloped back style of the chrome frame. To top off the cycle look is the black & red motor cycle styled seat. But what about the skis??

These are stellar looking knock out black deck skis that are reminiscent of the early 1960's downhill skis such as those made by Head. The front ski is marked with the maker's mark and logo Slalom Lenkung.

" The back ski gently curves upward for easy feet placement and is marked "Made In West-Germany" and the most excellent name "Schobob. The coolest feature is the uniquely engineered shock absorber mechanical assembly under the seat that smooths out the ride! The overall condition of the Schobob is superb. There are some very minor/tiny nicks on the black decking of the skis and the chrome has some very, very minor pitting in some places from over 50 years of minor humidity in Western Colorado.

The seat is in awesome shape. The off white plastic grips are in stellar shape and are marked Magura. The bottom of the skis are yellow and the metal edges do show some minor rust, so they could use a tune-up before hitting the slopes. The ski bike is complete and fully functional! Also included are a pair of Slalom Lenkung Schobob mini/short downhill skis with bindings.

They are cool as short skis or can be used with the Schobob. The back of each ski has a metal claw that helps provide a little more control & stopping ability with the ski bike. The overall dimensions of the assembled Schobob is 75 inches long, 28 inches tall and 22 inches wide.

The seat is 22 inches long. The front fork/steering assembly can be easily disassembled to reduce the size to fit easily in your car.
