Volkl AC30 UNLIMITED 170cm All Mountain/Carving Skis 118/76/104 Marker Bindings

If you aren't familiar with the AC30, ask any pro or serious skier: the AC30 is a hard charging ski, many say the crowning achievement of Volkl's product line at the time, and possibly their best camber ski ever. These skis are well loved but still perform as new. As mentioned, this is a full camber (some would say double camber), very aggressive ski that will both keep you on your toes and help you take the next step as a skier. They are well suited to the intermediate, advanced, and expert skier. Bindings are in perfect condition and can be adapted to any size boot. I personally have found these to be confidence inspiring in all terrain: they have tenacious grip on hardpack, corduroy, and ice. They have enough flotation for mild powder, but retain the stiffness needed for crud and variable conditions. They're quick enough edge to edge for moguls, and they truly have no speed limit.

Please carefully observe the high resolution photos. As I said they have been well loved and show a little wear, but they have also been well maintained throughout their lifetime and with basic care should be good for many more years still. The base structure (texture of the ski base) is in good shape. These had a stone grind to refresh the structure 2 years ago.

Edges are sharp, and while they aren't quite as thick as new, they have plenty of material left. Skis have been waxed this season, bases have never been allowed to dry out. In the interest of full disclosure, there is one minor core shot by the edge that was professionally fixed with metal grip and P-tex. This is visible as a slightly wrinkled part in one of the pictures. It has been skied on with this base repair for two years now with no separation. There is also one chip on the top sheets where the carbon fiber is visible.

This has been sealed to prevent moisture damage. One of the metal caps is missing a screw, so it has been permanently siliconed in place. Pay full asking price and I'll include a quick edge and wax tune as a courtesy. You will not be disappointed in the performance of this ski.
